My 1st Halloween!

October 31st in Nyack was a beautiful day and Grandma & Grandpa were still visiting so we all went out to explore! I really wasn't sure what all the fuss was about putting on these extra clothes so late in the day...

Well, I'm Winnie the Pooh Bear dressed as a honeybee of course!

A stop off by the Hudson River to enjoy the sunset...

I spent most of the time in my stroller but toward then end found it much more enjoyable to be carried by Grandpa - thanks Grandpa!

Grandma & Grandpa Visit

And, we had SO much fun! I gave them a little taste of my life in Nyack, NY which is awfully good but it is that much better having them around to play with me!
I got to introduce my Grandma & Grandpa to all my friends at the library during our song & story time.

Playing in the park!

Come back again really soon!

Fall Fun!

I love autumn! I've found I really like pumpkins. They're great for standing up on and just one more new thing for me to examine and study!

All the leaves blowing everywhere are probably my favorite thing about fall! I let out a little "heh" everytime I see them blow in the wind. I can sit forever by the window just watching them but I especially like to be outside to play in them and taste them. Yum! Yum!!

My First Teeth!

So these hard white things came popping through into my mouth! Aren't they dazzling? They came in September while we were in Colorado but I wanted to wait to show you until they had popped up a bit!

Standing up!

Last week, I discovered that I can pull up on just about anything and get on my feet! It's very exciting to see the world from a higher perspective - so many new things to pull and grab. Today I pulled up on mom & dad's bed to tickle my dad's feet while he worked on his computer.

Here I am standing up in my crib after mom found me for the first time squealing with delight at my new discovery! Now I'm usually dancing in my crib when they come to get me, I can really get the crib rails to rock to the beat! Magazine anyone?
I've found just about anything works to help me stand up on - even dad's head. (see below)

Cousin Fun!

My cousin Lauren, uncle Ben & aunt Megan came to visit on the weekend! I absolutely loved having them here! I loved watching and being with my cousin Lauren. She speaks so many words now and Lauren just makes me laugh with all the things she does! I would squeal with delight when she was around because it seemed to be the best way to express my happiness. We had so much fun playing. I may not be able to quite keep up with her yet but it won't be long!

A playmate right away in the morning - yipee!!!

Lauren found my toes!!

Fun in the sandbox at the park!

Can I get myself one of those bristle things too?

Birthday Party for Meetii!

I went to a birthday party for the first time this weekend. My friend Meetii turned 2 so we went to her house where I got to play and watch other kids. I especially liked watching the balloons blow in the air and eating the plates and hats. I wasn't really sure why all the other kids were so excited about the candles and the cake, but I enjoyed studying it and taking it all in.

Rocky Mountain High in Colorado!

Hey everyone! Mom and Dad have finally let me stay back home in New York long enough to update my blog. It's been a busy 5 months traveling somewhere new...I've become quite accustomed to planes & automobiles, meeting new people, and sleeping in different beds. September was especially fun since I got to experience Colorado! Dad had a conference in Estes Park so we all stayed in a little cabin. It was surrounded by wildlife and we even saw a black bear out our window, lots of bunnies & squirrels AND we got to see and hear the elk in RMNP making a funny bugle noise. Dad says they sound a lot like me when I yell out! It was great fun to see and meet my family members like my great aunt Kathy & Helen and so many new friends! Here are some of the highlights:

Here I am with my new friends at Lia's house in Longmont. We got to celebrate her baptism! I also got to meet Ava and Evelyn. I was a lucky boy being the only little guy there!

Quality time with dad in any place is always fun!

New Moves!

Here I am at 6 months still loving life, in fact now more than ever! In fact, this is on my 6 month birthday: life is simply grand!

I've discovered that I can put my body into all these different positions and it makes me SO happy! I like to try it out on all different surfaces: carpet, wood floor, grass and even on the pavement. I particularly like to try some yoga I've seen my Aunt Megan & Grandma Susan do. Here's a few push-ups for Grandpa Randy.

Check out this plank pose!
I've been trying to teach my daddy to do this one to stretch it out a bit more!

Isn't this such fun? I'm not moving too far yet but I sure love to rock back and forth. In between smiling for my mom and dad I'm rocking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. My mom and dad often find me in my crib after my naps doing this too as I squeal with delight!

One more plank pose with an added splitz. Ta-da!

Whew! That was fun! Anyone for more yoga?

Little Firecracker!

I like these days that they call holidays. Mom, Dad & I just played all day: I went for a ride in my stroller while Mom & Dad ran around the lake, we went swimming in our pool, and we played with other kids at a picnic! I wanted to show off the outfit that my uncle Dave, aunt Mary Beth & cousin Nicholas gave me. Thanks guys! I sure was a little firecracker of a hit at the picnic!

I Found my Toes!

So, it was actually back on June 11, I had just turned 4 months, when I first discovered this new body part of mine. The past month sure has been great with my toes: I enjoy eating them, playing with them, studying them, hearing mom sing to me about them, sucking them...who would have guessed that one of the best toys is with me all the time?
