Mom's Day

I got to help celebrate my mom's day for the first time! My dad helped me get all dressed up to take a few pictures to present her with and we even sang her a song. Dad did most of the singing but I threw in a few shout-outs and some actions with my hands. I love to let my voice be heard! How do you like my tie?

Picnic in the Park

Today I got to sport my new hat for a picnic in the park, right next to the Hudson River. Sometimes the hat falls in my eyes, but it's much better than that crazy bright light in the sky getting in my eyes. Mom and Dad brought a big blanket that we could all share together. The grass seems greener everytime I go outside, and now many of the trees have these flowers all over them. Dad kept wanting to take a nap, so I let him. I'm hoping for lots more picnics this summer...want to join me?
